Tami Buckman

For 13 years, as a user experience designer, I have been a member of passionate product development teams taking on the challenge of optimizing complex healthcare processes. I focus on identifying opportunities for efficiency, producing intuitive user flows, and optimizing the operational processes used by the product and design teams. I enjoy visiting hospitals and clinics to observe nurses, physicians, and patients in order to capture the voice of the customer and determine how to integrate user needs and business goals. I value rapid prototyping to test hypotheses and monitoring the success of technology projects with post launch methods such as surveys and analytics. 

When I create healthcare enterprise software, the users are my colleagues. My goal is to fully understand their daily work, the patients and members they are engaging with, and the long term vision of the product owners. I enjoy the challenge of keeping up with the constant changes in technology and evolving work methodologies. I value the relationships and support of many technology networking groups that connect me with similar minds who are passionate about collaboration, creativity, and continuous learning.

To know that someone is interacting with a website or an app that I helped to create, at a time when they are looking for health and healing, is extremely rewarding.
